"Please Save The Birds, Thank You" became "Mike Lanphere's Tree" when it was created in 2016 for The Chicago Tree Project in Olympia Park. The piece was planned for years in response to tragic bird-frying solar fields, and dedicated to Mike's tragically missed and revered avian spirit.
